Care After Combat - Footprints Alcohol Intervention Programme

The prevalence of alcohol misuse by former military personnel exceeds that of the general population. Alcohol misuse can have a pivotal role in a range of disorders and other problems whilst often being maintained to a large degree by difficulties associated with the transition from military to civilian life more generally.

Care after Combat offers an alcohol intervention programme based upon many years’ experience, comprising an education module, including physiological, psychological and sociological components. Partners are encouraged to attend.
